Virtual 6 Session Support Group for
Parents in Active Treatment/Recent Survivorship
Dates: Every Tuesday February 10-March 17
Time: 1 pm PT/2 pm MT/3 pm CT/4 pm ET (sessions are 90 minutes)
Parenting is hard enough. Add a cancer diagnosis to the mix? That brings unique challenges. Join our 6 session virtual support group to connect with other parents who get it.
This closed group will host the same group of parents over 6 meetings so you have plenty of time to get to know each other and dig into every topic that's on your mind. Get tips, tricks and resources from other parents who are out there living it. Feel validated in all your feelings and questions--you are not alone in what you are going through. Build connections to bolster your resilience through treatment, survivorship and beyond.
Who is this group for? Parents with cancer--any diagnosis or stage--who are currently in treatment or who finished the majority of their cancer treatment within the past 6 months. Parents in this group are caring for minor children living at home, from pregnancy through teens.
What: a 6 session support group to talk about the fears, challenges, and successful coping strategies associated with parenting through cancer treatment and early survivorship. All sessions will take place virtually.
