Join us for a Summer Read-A-Thon!
Bright Spot Network is launching a Summer Read-A-Thon campaign—a peer-to-peer fundraiser led by the Parent Advisory Board and powered by families and big-hearted kids who are reading together to make a difference.
Our goal is simple: bring families together through reading together while raising critical funds for Bright Spot Network's Bright Reads program supporting parents with cancer and their children.
We’re inviting families, kids, grandparents, neighbors, and communities to join us by creating a fundraising page, setting a reading together goal, and sharing why Bright Spot Network matters to them.
Whether you read 10 books, 100 pages, or every night before bed, every story shared helps create brighter days for families facing a parent’s cancer.
Families who set up a fundraising page by August 3 will get limited edition stickers designed by Chelsey Gomez (@ohyouresotough)!

Sign Up—Create your personal or family Read-A-Thon fundraising page and share your story.
Read Together—You choose what you're reading toward, whether that's a number of books, pages, consecutive nights together, or simply a commitment to read before bed all month long. Only tracks books, pages, or minute if you want! Pick your favorite books and center your reading routine with purpose
Share & Raise Support—Invite friends, family, and coworkers to sponsor your reading with a donation to honor your journey and ensure families facing a parent’s cancer don’t have to do it alone.
Celebrate! We’ll be celebrating everyone who participates with prizes, shout outs, and more!
